Founder
Samer E. Shalaby, P.E.
Founded DCS in 2000 and leads the company. He is a licensed professional engineer in Virginia and Maryland, with bachelor's and master's degrees from The George Washington University.
Development
Ziyad Shalaby
Manages development: acquisitions, entitlement strategy, consultants and project delivery. He holds a civil engineering degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA, and has been with DCS since 2012.
How we work
We run every project as if we owned it
We develop land ourselves, so we run every project, ours or a client's, the same way. We watch the schedule, the budget and the approvals together, because that is where projects are won or lost.
We stay small on purpose. When you call, you talk to the people making the decisions.
